Chelsea Data Center Specifications

We are proud to introduce our carrier neutral data center facility: TELEHOUSE New York Chelsea. Situated in the heart of Manhattan at 85 10th Ave between the media savvy Meat Packing district and the hip Chelsea region, this facility offers the latest cutting edge technology in Data Center infrastructure.

Initially, the facility offers access to 10 carriers/ISPs with very low monthly cross connect fees, connected via the latest in intrafacility cabling design and capability. TELEHOUSE provides access and management of dual diverse building fiber entrances with dual risers. This allows carriers or ISP’s to add fiber into the building at a fraction of the cost of other data center facilities and without having third party involvement.

Along with our other two New York City carrier neutral data centers located at 25 Broadway in Manhattan and 7 Teleport Drive in Staten Island, we are delighted to announce the launch of NYIIX peering opportunities at our new data center in Chelsea. With access to New York’s largest and most active IP transit peering exchange, NYIIX, with over 135+ members, which ranks in the top 10 internationally, customers can implement a more robust, cost effective and higher traffic capable network configuration. It offers dual-redundant fiber connections to several other popular local carrier hotels, including 111 Eighth Avenue and, 60 Hudson Street with expansion plans to other local facilities.

 With 60,000 square feet of colocation space the facility in Chelsea can accommodate up to 600 colocation space cabinets and has a commercial power capacity of 4,150 kVA. Our Customer’s IT resources are protected by our redundant, best-in-class N+1 power infrastructure consisting of 4 static 750 kVA Uninterruptable Power Supply units (UPS), for a total of 2250 kVA, utilizing a 3+1 configuration. This ensures that servers remain uninterrupted during adverse commercial power conditions.
